The Love Home Fabrics booth with Symphony Mills and Ter Molst at Heimtextil 2020 in Messe Frankfurt

This was Heimtextil 2020

As always, we celebrated the start of the year with three collections that had the time to mature since Summer 2019. At this special edition of Heimtextil – the trade show celebrated its 50th birthday – three Love Home Fabrics companies introduced a fabric collection that had one thing in common: soft hues are everywhere, and they’re more than ever accompanied by a soft touch.

Subdued colours for that true wabi-sabi look

In line with tradition, Ter Molst extended its two major brands Vivalife and Linen Life with some new fabrics. All fabrics have their typical Linen Life or Vivalife touch and have evidently been designed with the latest trends in mind.

Luxury towels in 20 colours

Some halls down the road, among all ready-to-use interior textiles, Clarysse joined our Heimtextil party as well. The towel producer proudly presented its extremely soft bath towel range Florence. The so-called ‘Luxury Towel’ comes in twenty soft-hued colours and does real justice to Clarysse’s promise of every towel being a ‘hug of cotton’.

So soft you can’t even imagine

With Copenhagen, Symphony Mills nailed down today’s hottest fabric trend. This teddy coat fabric is extremely fluffy and comes with a warning: if you sit down on it during the day, it’ll be late in the evening before you depart with it.

For Symphony, Heimtexil was the perfect setting to launch not one but two duotone fabrics. Corsica was inspired by the French island atmosphere and reflects the southern laid-back vibe in both its look and feel. Queens is slightly speckled and soft as a cloud; as you can tell, no lazy Sunday afternoon will ever be the same again.
